THE NOBLE AFRICAN LAUREATE
Osazomon Innovations LLC, is pleased to announce their Inaugural African Laureate Scholarship. The African Cultural Association has been our chief executive officer’s premier molding experience. Her heavy involvement and 2015-2016 presidency in the African Cultural Association at the University of Illinois, offered her the opportunity to help create and sustain the Annual ACA Scholarship and Midwestern African Student Organization Conference, respectively. This experience crafted her to be the progressive creative, scientist, and entrepreneur she is today. As a form of ‘paying her dues’, Osazomon created the African Laureate Scholarship to consistently foster the young african gems, or as she coined the term ‘The African Einsteins’, of the Midwestern African Student Organization Conference.
ORIGIN:Osazomon Innovations was founded in 2017 by Nigerian-American biomedical scientist, creative, and entrepreneur Osazomon Imarenezor. As significant contributors to Africapitalism, the company is dedicated to the socio-economic contribution of African Youth to Africa’s growing economic transformation. Through the Laureate scholarship, Osazomon Innovations intends to provide first-stage tools to guide African entrepreneurial ventures in the correct direction. Our Laureates are the Africa 2.0 that our continent needs.
AIMS:The company aims to promote excellence in business leadership and entrepreneurship within an African economy. One of its driving aspirations is the improvement of the competitiveness of African economies.
SCHOLARSHIP PRIORITIES:Osazomon Innovations’ activities revolve around:
1. The industry relative to the startup
2. Income-generating model
3. Major problem solved
4. What, if any, US company(ies) have the same business model
Length: The essay’s length must be between 125-500 words.
Academic Status: Undergraduate Student from Accredited University
African Organization Status: Registered MASO Con Participant
GPA: None
Amount Awarded: The winner receives $125 for 3 consecutive-years towards any entrepreneurial venture. This includes, but is not limited to, education-related expenses, business expenses (food, transportation, lodging, legal etc), and cost of living.
